Thread Through The Ice Things Required
  1. An Ice bar
  2. Two wooden pieces
  3. A string
  4. A weight holder
  5. Some weight

Step:1
Place the two wooden pieces a little apart.
Step:2
Put the string around the ice bar and place it on top of the wodden pieces.
Step:3
Hang the weight holder on the string.
Step:4
Add the weight to the weight holder.


What you observe...

Because of the weight, the string will slowly cut the ice into two pieces.
Wait till the string comes out completely.


Step:5
Lift the ice bar by holding on one edge.

What you observe...

Though the string had gone through the ice bar completely, the ice bar did not become two pieces.
the string path is still visible.
